CENTRIFUGES

Zetatek manufactures custom designed centrifuges which are required for the testing of UUT in high-G environments. Zetatek's standard range of centrifuges cover payloads from 30kg to 150kg. The centrifuges are designed to apply acceleration levels up to 150g.

The centrifuge base is a sturdy bottom plate and allows the secure anchoring of the centrifuge in the foundation. An enveloping shroud protects the operator from the rotating boom and also serves as an aerodynamic shroud. The shroud is dimensioned to contain the nominal test mass should it accidentally get free during operation.

The shroud can also be designed as insulation and can control temperature from -50ºC to +80ºC in the centrifuge. The centrifuge is controlled and monitored by the host computer.
